A reasonable study was done on a total of 14,655 women whether or not they were diagnosed with endometriosis to evaluate the results. According to Dr. Saraswat this is a slightly normal condition and at times is not known of as well. According to this study in comparision to the 8280 women who were not diagnosed with endometriosis and to the 5375 who were diagnosed with endometriosis were at a greater risk of complications during their pregnancy. In fact there was 76% risk of them suffering from miscarriage (odds ratio at 1.76) and were at three times at high risk of ectopic pregnancy (OR 2.7).
